Well, the Eclipse foundation is supporting the OpenHW group which has taken over the maintenance of some parts of our releasers. So there is some hope in that field.
We are looking forward to see contributions from the community to adapt Eclipse or other IDEs for PULP development. In theory, since everything works on command line/gdb, adding the hooks to Eclipse or any other IDE should not be so difficult. However, within the university we simply lack the resources to do more than what we have.
