Is there an IDE?
#1
Hi thereĀ

I was wondering if there is any opportunity to work with the Eclipse IDE to program and debug the PULPissimo that is running on a NEXYS 4 board?

Or is there any other IDE, that would be able to do that?

Would really like to find an easier way to work with PULPissimo than compiling, downloading and debugging from the command line.

Thank you very much for all kind of ideas.

Well, the Eclipse foundation is supporting the OpenHW group which has taken over the maintenance of some parts of our releasers. So there is some hope in that field.

We are looking forward to see contributions from the community to adapt Eclipse or other IDEs for PULP development. In theory, since everything works on command line/gdb, adding the hooks to Eclipse or any other IDE should not be so difficult. However, within the university we simply lack the resources to do more than what we have.

Ok I see.
Thank you very much for answering.
So I think I am gonna try to add the hooks to Eclipse if that works.

Thank you for all that information and have a nice day Smile.
